SAL Mon Cahier De Broderie

A  very gracious lady, Covi   at  http://www.cova-libre.es/  is hosting a Stitch-A-Long. One page of embroidery per month, to conclude in a bound cloth book.

Each section highlights a few different stitches. The first square will have flowers made with spiderweb and woven spider web petals and stems of a variation of feather stitch.

I'm not very good at the stitches yet but having fun none the less.

Feather stitch leaves ( different from fly stitch), whipped back stitch, laced back stitch.

Running stitch, whipped running stitch, laced running stitch.

Bayeux stitch variation. I think I would get a smoother result using a single thread, maybe size 12 pearl cotton. For stitch tutorials please see Mary Corbett's NeedleNThread videos.

Thank you to Covi  (http://www.cova-libre.es/ ) for all the hard work to make this stitch sample book possible.
