Mon Cahier de Broderie Hoja 7

Working again on my embroidery sample book. It was a SAL  I started a long time ago and life became complicated so it was only pulled out and worked on slowly. Baby steps.

This is a bunch of Stem Stitch Roses  from Needle N Thread. Thank you Mary. They are very fun. I worked them with a strand of wool and a strand of cotton floss.

Missing my favorite camera.  My stitching homework for this section is done. I needed all the practice in satin stitch and yet I need more. 

Need to add some French knot centers (Point do noeud).

A page for 'Crazy Stitches' is coming next, or you could say Los Puntos Locos or Des Points Crazy. Playing around with two languages because Mon Cahier de Broiderie is in French and Covi, who is hosting the SAL is Spanish

My camera quit on me so I am borrowing one. Maybe you can tell it was going out by looking at my last post. Maybe you can also see that these photos are also not up to par. The real thing is a delightful learning experience.

Incredibly distracting month! Not much to show on the embroidery notebook project, yet the minutes have flown and it is time to post the progress along with hundreds of other ladies doing the same project. Have I lost my mind? Some of the text is in Spanish, some in French and some in English because the book we are using is written in French, the blog we post our lessons on is in Spanish!

Point de Reprise  or darning as they say in America is in the center. Tutorials for the stitches are available at Needle N Thread  .
